The Marchington Lake is a lake in Kenora District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .
The lake is located 30 km east of Sioux Lookout . It is located in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 362 m . The heavily indented and elongated lake is traversed by the Marchington River , a right tributary of the English River . Other major tributaries are the Sturgeon River and North River .
Marchington Lake has a length of 30 km and an area of 36 km².
The places Robinson , McDougall Mills and Ghost River are on the lakeshore. The Canadian National Railway crosses the lake at Robinson .
Marchington Lake is a destination for fishing tourists. Eyeglasses , pike and American perch are caught in the lake .
