Marcial Mendoza (born February 23, 1967 ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender . He played from 1990 to 1996 for the then still in the capital settled Club Necaxa , with whom he was twice Mexican champion.
Life
Mendoza made his debut in the Mexican Primera División on September 30, 1990 in the 3-2 away win of the Necaxistas against Deportivo Toluca . He scored his first goal in the Mexican professional league three weeks later in a home game against the Correcaminos de la UAT on October 20, 1990 . With his goal to 3-1 in the 74th minute, Mendoza had ensured the preliminary decision in the 4-1 victory of his team. In total, the defender scored three goals in the 1990/91 season, and in his subsequent years only two more goals should follow in the top division.
