The Marck Glacier is a glacier in the north of Thurston Island off the Eights coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . There it flows into the southwestern extension of the Cadwalader Inlet .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 2003 to George H. Marck (1923-2002), who as part of the United States Navy conducted Operation Highjump (1946-1947) on the aerial photographs of Thurston Island and the neighboring mainland coast was involved.
