Marco Antonio Canevalle

Marc Antonio Canevalle , also Marcantonio Canevalle , Czech Marek Antonín Canevalle (born September 28, 1652 in Lanzo, Italy , † February 15, 1711 in Prague ) was an Italian architect and builder .

Canevalle was in the service of the Habsburg monarchy during his time in office . He lived in Prague and designed several castles, churches and monasteries in the area between Friedland in Bohemia and Reichenberg . He was responsible for the Mnichovo Hradiště Castle . In addition, the Franciscan monastery was built in the Baroque style according to his designs in Hejnice . In Prague, the St. Ursula Church with the associated Ursuline monastery was built from 1674 to 1678 according to his designs.
