Marco Antonio Mandruzzato (born May 16, 1923 in Treviso , † October 31, 1969 in Milan ) was an Italian sword fencer .
successes
Marco Antonio Mandruzzato took part in the 1948 Olympic Games in London , where he reached the final round undefeated with the team. In this, the Italian team only had to admit defeat to France , while they defeated Sweden and Denmark . Together with Carlo Agostoni , Luigi Cantone , Fiorenzo Marini , Dario Mangiarotti and Edoardo Mangiarotti , Mandruzzato won the silver medal. The following year he was at the World Championships in Cairo in the team competition champion .
