Marco Ferrari
Marco Virgilio Ferrari (born November 27, 1932 in Bergamo ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Milan .
Life
Marco Ferrari was ordained priest in Milan Cathedral on June 28, 1959 by Giovanni Battista Cardinal Montini .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Milan and titular bishop of Mazaca on September 8, 1987 . The Archbishop of Milan, Carlo Maria Cardinal Martini , SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on October 18 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops of Milan, Bernardo Citterio and Renato Corti .
On January 10, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
