Marco Leonardi (born November 14, 1971 in Melbourne , Victoria , Australia ) is an Italian film actor .

Life

Leonardi was born in Australia to Italian parents and moved with them to Rome as early as 1975, at the age of four , where he spent his childhood and youth. As a three-year-old Leonardi was seen in an Australian commercial, which was to be followed by more in his Italian homeland. He made his debut as an actor at the age of 16 in the Italian drama Ultimo minuto from 1987. However, he only celebrated his breakthrough in 1988 in Giuseppe Tornatores with the Oscar- winning film Cinema Paradiso .
