Marco Schober

Marco "Mirko" Schober (born June 15, 1985 ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

At the age of seven, Schober began playing football with the lower class ATUS Bärnbach. On July 17, 2002 he moved to the federal youth center of the then Bundesliga club Grazer AK , where he was able to deepen his football training.

On June 20, 2002 Schober was signed by the Regionalliga Mitte club ASK Voitsberg . On January 25, 2005, he moved to the national division ASK Köflach , where the 172 centimeter tall striker was able to secure a regular place straight away. In his seven appearances up to the summer, he had nine hits. In the 2006/07 season he came to 24 missions (four goals) and in the 2007/08 championship on 28 missions (with twelve hits).

As a result, TSV Hartberg became aware of Schober and signed him on July 15, 2008 for the Regionalliga Mitte . There he played his first appearance for the Hartberger on August 19, 2008 in a 4-0 home win over FC Kärnten , when he came on for Hannes Ritter in the 81st minute. On August 29, 2008, Schober entered the Hartberger's list of goalscorers for the first time when he was successful with a double in the 5-1 home win against SV Bad Aussee . At the end of the 2008/09 season Schober had 20 missions and vir goals, which made a significant contribution to winning the championship title and the associated promotion to the first division .

In the summer of 2009 Schober signed a contract with TSV Hartberg as a professional footballer. On July 24, 2009 he made his professional debut for the Hartberger in the 0-0 draw in the Styrian derby at FC Gratkorn when he came on the field in the 39th minute instead of Roland Kelbert . On August 21, 2009, Schober scored his first professional goal when he fixed Hartberger's 1-0 home win against FC Lustenau 07 in the 25th minute . At the end of the 2009/10 season he had 29 appearances and two goals.

In 2012 Schober moved to the fifth-class FC Lankowitz in West Styria.
