Marco Soumikh

Marco Soumikh (born May 1, 1985 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and singer .

Life

In 1996 Soumikh performed as second soprano in the children's choir of the Hamburg Alsterspatzen in the operas Turandot and Tosca . From 1996 to 1997 he played in the play Harrys Kopf at the Thalia Theater . Jürgen Flimm was the director at the time .

From 1997 to 1999 he was the singer of the music band Kids in Between (KIB), which released the CD 100 good reasons in 1998 . Before that he had singing lessons from Jane Comerford and Ulrike Wollstadt .

From 1998 to 2004, Soumikh played the leading role of Timo Sommerland in all 52 episodes of the children's series Die Kinder vom Alstertal .

In 1999 Soumikh released two maxi-CDs with the titles Know you like me and you are everything I want , the second title was also the soundtrack in the film The Little Vampire . Soumikh wrote his own texts at the time. The genre of music could be described as German-English hip-hop with a rock sound.

From 2003 to 2007 and 2008 Soumikh was the singer in the bands Seismic Tremor and That's Right Bob . These are hard rock bands . At the end of 2007 he released the album The world is caving in with Seismic Tremor .

In 2007 Soumikh also played the role of Peter in the feature film Things to do . Directed by Hendrik Röhrs .

Soumikh has been playing guitar in the metal core band Let Them Fail since 2008 and is now the singer in the progressive metal band Retain , with whom he had his first secret gig on November 20, 2008 with Here Comes The Kraken from Mexico. He is also the singer of the hardcore band Invoke .
