Marco da Silva (born May 30, 1977 in Bremen ) is a German-Portuguese choreographer , singer and dancer.

Career

Marco da Silva was born with music in his early childhood. His Portuguese parents were well-known fado singers. Marco himself was a member of a Portuguese folklore group for several years . In his youth, however, da Silva began to be more interested in modern music and especially in dancing. What initially began with appearances as a go -go dancer in clubs soon became a profession for Marco da Silva.

In 2000, however, he was supposed to change his subject first. Marco da Silva released a cover version of the Ritchie Valens hit " La Bamba ", which hit the charts in Germany and Switzerland. But shortly afterwards he was drawn back to his dance roots. Over the years Marco da Silva has been seen as a dancer in music videos by, for example, No Angels , Mariah Carey or Geri Halliwell . In 2005 Marco da Silva was one of the dancers on Kylie Minogue's "Showgirl Tour" .

In Germany you could see Marco da Silva as a jury member in the Sat.1 show You Can Dance on television. In 2005 Marco da Silva founded his own agency with "Eightcounts Entertainment" which mediates dancers and choreographers. In 2008 he had a guest appearance in the second workshop of the Pro7 show " Popstars ". Marco da Silva lives mostly in London .

In 2011 da Silva first worked as a choreographer for Britney Spears ' Femme Fatale Tour .
