Marcos Ariel de Paula or short Marcos (born December 19, 1983 in Bariri ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Club career

From 2002 to 2015 Marcos Ariel de Paula was under contract with AC Chievo Verona . After he came to two league appearances in the 2002/03 season, he was regularly loaned out to lower class Italian clubs to collect match practice. For the 2009/10 season the striker is back in the Chievo squad. On February 28, 2010, he scored the 1-0 opening goal in a 2-1 home win over Cagliari Calcio and thus his first goal for Verona.
