Marcus Bruehl

Marcus Brühl (born November 4, 1975 in Siegen ; † May 13, 2015 in Berlin ) was a German poet and prose author.

biography

According to his own statements, he decided to become a poet after reading Goethe's Poetry and Truth at the age of 14 . He studied literature, English, sociology and theater studies at the Free University of Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin .

The poet's most successful work was his novel Henningstadt . His stories and poems have been published in numerous magazines and anthologies and have been broadcast on the radio. In addition to the design through the vocal performance, he has developed and realized various pieces for lyrical works with piano, percussion, movement and dance.

He died in his apartment on May 13, 2015, possibly as a result of a head injury following an epileptic fit .
