Marcus Chown

Marcus Chown is a British physicist and science writer .

Life

After studying physics, Chown worked at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena . He later began writing scientific and popular science articles in magazines and books. His first book Afterglow of Creation. From the Fireball to the Discovery of Cosmic Ripples was the UK's most widely read popular science publication after Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time . Chown works as a writer and consultant on cosmological issues for the New Scientist . Marcus Chown lives near London.
