Marcus Pedo Vergilianus
Marcus Pedo Vergilianus († 115 ) was a Roman politician and senator of the 2nd century AD.
Vergilianus was an ordinary consul in 115 . At the beginning of the year he was killed in an earthquake in Antioch on the Orontes . Emperor Trajan , who was also in the city due to a campaign against the Parthians, barely escaped with his life.
Vergilianus' gentile name was probably Popilius , since other senators with the Cognomen Pedo also bore this name, such as Gaius Popilius Carus Pedo , Consul 147, or Popilius Pedo Apronianus , Consul 191.
