Marcus Richter is a freelance editor, presenter and podcaster.

He is currently moderating the broadband program on Deutschlandfunk Kultur and the Vorgespiel section in the pop culture magazine Kompressor .

From 2006 to 2012 he developed and hosted the trackback program at Fritz , the rbb's youth radio station . The show dealt extensively with the topic of the blogosphere and its makers and thus had a pioneering function in this area. He also produced the weekly game tip and regularly moderated the weekly talk format Blue Moon . At the end of the month until 2018, the so-called Chaos Radio , which welcomed guests from the Chaos Computer Club , was an integral part of this format .

As a stage presenter, Richter leads through numerous events. He moderates u. a. the game culture quartet for the Digital Game Culture Foundation , moderator at the award ceremony of the mb21 award , moderates the final presentation of the Hackathon Jugend hackt in Berlin and the Dieter Baacke Prize .

Richter deals with v. a. with digital change and its political, cultural and social effects on society. He is also a specialist in computer games and network policy developments.

He is also the author and producer of Radio Motherboard at VICE / Audible and has been producing the children's program Kakadu (also at Deutschlandfunk Kultur ) as a podcast together with others since 2019 . Richter is also the host and producer of a number of his own podcasts. a. the legal instruction nominated for the klicksafe price in 2017 , the one-hour talk format der Weisheit , which is also broadcast on Radio Bremen , as well as the computer game magazine Indie Fresse and the media education podcast Just 30 Minutes Belong, which he runs with the book author Patricia Cammarata .
