Marcus Roth

Marcus Roth (* 1968 in Marburg ) is a German psychologist and professor for differential psychology at the University of Duisburg-Essen .

Life

Roth studied psychology at the University of Bonn (Diploma 1994), completed his doctorate in 1998 at the University of Koblenz-Landau and his habilitation in 2004 at the University of Leipzig , where he taught psychological diagnostics and personality psychology . He has been a university professor for differential psychology at the University of Duisburg-Essen since 2010 . His research focuses on the development of delinquency in adolescence, typologies of personality , analysis of response behavior in questionnaires , the personality trait sensation seeking and the professional use of empathy in social professions.
