Erik Marcus Svensson (born March 22, 1990 in Härslöv ) is a Swedish sports shooter .
successes
Marcus Svensson, who competes for the Landskrona-Saxtorps JSK club, took part in two Olympic Games in skeet . In 2012 he narrowly missed the final in London as seventh in the qualification . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he reached the semi-finals with an Olympic record of 123 points, in which he qualified for the final with 16 goals. Svensson scored 15 goals in the duel for the gold medal, while his opponent Gabriele Rossetti scored 16, so Svensson was second and thus received the silver medal. In 2019 he became world champion with the Skeet team in Lonato del Garda , and he also took part in the European Games in Minsk without winning any medals .
