The contest Skeet Men at the 2012 Olympics in London was in on 30 and 31 July 2012 Royal Artillery Barracks played. 36 shooters took part.
The competition took place in two rounds, a qualifying round and a final round. In the qualifying round, each shooter had to fire five series of 25 shots. Each hit resulted in a point. The six best shooters qualified for the final. In the final, another series of 25 shots was carried out. Here, too, each hit resulted in a point.

Vincent Hancock is the first Olympic champion in double trap to defend his title.
Anders Golding wins the first Swedish and Nasser Al-Attiyah the first medal for Qatar in this discipline. Al-Attiyah's bronze medal was also Qatar's first medal in Olympic shooting.
Al-Attiyah is a successful rally driver who won the 2011 Dakar Rally .
