The competition sport pistol 25 meters of the women at the 2012 Olympics in London was in the July 29, 2012 Royal Artillery Barracks played. 39 shooters took part.

The competition took place in two rounds, a qualifying round and a final round. In the qualifying round each shooter had to fire 60 shots. For each shot there was one to 10 points. The first 30 shots were designed as precision shots, five minutes were allowed for five shots. The second series of 30 rounds was timed. The starters had three seconds for each shot.

The best eight participants qualified for the final. Here the shooters fired 20 shots each, with the rating being divided into steps of 0.1 points. The highest possible rating per shot was 10.9. Four series of five shots (three seconds per shot) were fired. The winner was determined by adding up the scores from qualification and final.

The shooters qualified for the final are highlighted in light green.

Between Jo Yong-suk (PRK), Zorana Arunović (SRB) and Marija Grosdewa (BUL) there was a shoot-off to determine the two remaining places in the final. Jo reached 50 points, Arunović 49 and Grosdewa 48. Jo and Arunović moved into the final, Grosdewa eliminated.
