Lalita Wadsimauna Jauhleuskaja ( Belarusian Лаліта Вадзімаўна Яўглеўская ; born December 31, 1963 in Sokol , Russian SFSR ) is a former Belarusian - Australian sports shooter .
successes
Lalita Jauhleuskaja took part in six Olympic Games . In 1996 she took eighth place with the air pistol in Atlanta , and four years later she was eleventh in Sydney . With the sport pistol, she qualified for the final round with 583 points, in which she scored another 103 points. With a total of 686 points, she finished the competition behind Marija Grosdewa and Tao Luna in third place and thus received the bronze medal. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , she first appeared for Australia . With the air pistol she did not get past 21st place, with the sport pistol she came tenth. The 2008 Games in Beijing Jauhleuskaja finished with the air pistol in 18th place and with the sports pistol in 14th place. Also in the following Olympics she missed the finals: in 2012 it reached in London with the gun rank 40 and with the pistol 17th position in 2016 took them in Rio de Janeiro the 24th place with the air gun and the 14th place with the pistol .
With the air pistol Jauhleuskaja won the individual bronze medal at the 1998 World Championships in Barcelona and silver in 2010 in Munich . In 2010 she became world champion in team competition. After moving to the Australian Association, Jauhleuskaja was also eligible to start in the Commonwealth Games . In 2002 she won the individual competitions with the air pistol and the sport pistol in Manchester and also the pair competition with the air pistol. In the pair competition with the sport pistol, she secured bronze. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne , gold medals followed in all four disciplines. In addition, Jauhleuskaja took second place in the pair competition with the sport pistol in New Delhi in 2010 and third place in the individual competition in Glasgow in 2014 with the sport pistol.
Jauhleuskaja is married and has two children. One of them, Sergei Evglevski , is also successful as a marksman .
