Jon Kiriac

Jon Kiriac (* 1984 in Alba Iulia , Transylvania ) is a German - Romanian actor and speaker.

Life

Jon Kiriac grew up in his native Romania, where his father was a colonel in the Romanian Army . In 2003 he began his acting training at the West University of Timişoara , which he then completed from 2005 to 2009 at the University of Art Graz (formerly: University of Music and Performing Arts Graz). During his studies he already appeared in several productions at the Deutsches Staatstheater Timisoara and the Schauspielhaus Graz .

As a theater actor, he initially had engagements at the Badische Landesbühne Bruchsal (2009), at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt (2010) and at the Schleswig-Holstein State Theater (2010). In the 2013/14 season he was a guest at the Staatstheater Kassel as a prince in the Christmas play Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella . In the 2014/15 season he appeared at the Schauspielhaus Wien and at the Luxembourg National Theater as Karl in the Horváth play Zur Schöne Aussicht . From 2015 to 2017 Kiriac was a guest at Ballhaus Ost in Berlin in the production And then we took Berlin .

He is also co-founder of the studio stage "Studio Niculescu" and co-founder of the theater "Kunstkooperative" in Berlin.

Kiriac has also appeared in several film and television productions. In 2011 he completed the film acting workshop at the Ludwigsburg Film Academy , where Bibiana Beglau , Nina Haun and Connie Walther were his lecturers. He acted in several short films and had episode roles a. a. in the TV series Munich 7 (2014), Josephine Klick - Alone Among Cops (2015), Last Trace Berlin (2019, as Romanian guest worker Ianis Albu) and SOKO Leipzig (2019).

Kiriac also works as a spokesperson for radio, radio plays and advertising. He worked u. a. in radio play productions by Deutschlandradio Kultur , NDR Kultur and rbb .

He is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS). Kiriac is married, has one daughter and lives in Berlin .
