Tore Brovold (born June 12, 1970 in Hamar ) is a former Norwegian sports shooter .
successes
Tore Brovold, who competed for the Ostlandske Sportsskyttere club , took part in two Olympic Games in skeet . At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , he qualified for the final with 120 points. In this he hit all 25 goals, so that there was a jump-off against Vincent Hancock for the gold medal. Hancock won with four to three hits against Brovold, so that the latter won the silver medal. In 2012 he missed the final in London as 27th of the qualification .
As early as 2005 Brovold was Skeet team in Lonato del Garda World Champion . This was followed by two bronze medals the following year in Zagreb in the individual and team competition. In 2011 he was runner-up in the singles world championship in Belgrade and won bronze again with the team in Lima in 2013 . He also took part in the 2015 European Games in Baku , without winning a medal .
