Anthony Joseph Terras (born June 21, 1985 in Marseille ) is a French marksman in the discipline of skeet .

successes

Anthony Terras participated in four Olympic Games . In 2004 he finished ninth in Athens , but four years later he reached the final in Beijing . He finished this with a total of 144 points and had to jump off against Antonis Nikolaidis for the bronze medal. After every two targets hit Nikolaidis missed the third target in contrast to Terras, so that Terras was third. In 2012 he did not get past 17th place in London . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he scored 121 points and was fifth with four competitors. In the jump-off for the two qualifying places for the final, Terras was eliminated after four goals and thus finished the competition in eighth place overall.

Terras was runner-up in the individual world champion in 2014 in Granada and 2015 in Lonato del Garda . With the team, he secured the bronze medal, first in Munich in 2010 and also in Granada in 2014, before winning the title with her in Lonato del Garda in 2015 and in Changwon in 2018 . At the 2015 European Games in Baku , Terras and Lucie Anastassiou won the gold medal in the mixed competition.
