Mareike Bokern (* 1979 in Lohne , Lower Saxony ) is a German television presenter for WDR and the station Phoenix .

Life

Mareike Bokern studied political science , literature and media at the University of Osnabrück . She began her journalistic career at the “Oldenburgische Volkszeitung” in Vechta, the “Diepholzer Kreisblatt” and the radio station “osradio 104.8”. After a traineeship at n-tv , she initially worked for the WDR's “Lokalzeit Bonn” editorial team, then for the “heute” program at ZDF . In 2011 she started working for the Phoenix broadcaster. Since February 13, 2012, she has also been moderating "Local Time Aachen" at WDR.
