Marek Dziuba (born December 19, 1955 in Łódź , Poland ) is a former Polish football player and coach .

Club career

Marek Dziuba began his professional career in his hometown of Łódź at Łódzki KS . He played here for a total of eleven years. However, he was denied a club title during this time. In 1984 he moved to city rival Widzew Łódź . Here he won the Polish Cup in his first season. However, this remained the only club title. In 1987, at the age of 32, he was allowed to move abroad to Belgium . Here he played five seasons for VV St. Truiden .

National team

From 1977 to 1984 Dziuba completed 53 senior internationals for the Polish national team in which he scored one goal. He took part with Poland in the 1982 World Cup, in which he took third place with the team.

Coaching career

Dziuba trained among others the Łódzki KS and Widzew Łódź . With ŁKS he won the Polish championship in 1998 and was Polish runner-up with Widzew in 1999.
