Maren Kuhn-Rehfus

Maren Kuhn-Rehfus (née Rehfus; born August 31, 1933 in Ludwigshafen ; † September 2, 1993 in Sigmaringen ) was a German historian and archivist .

Maren Rehfus studied after graduating from high school in 1957 in Esslingen 1958-1969 history, political science, English and philosophy at the Universities of Tübingen, Berlin and Heidelberg. In 1969 she received her doctorate from Hansmartin Decker-Hauff at the University of Tübingen with a thesis The Cistercian Convent Forest - Manorial, Judicial Authority and Administration . She then joined the archives service of the state of Baden-Württemberg as an archival trainee at the main state archive in Stuttgart and graduated from the Marburg archive school . From 1971 she worked at the Sigmaringen State Archives , most recently from 1992 until her death as director. Since 1972 she was married to the senior teacher Werner Kuhn († 2014).
