Marfino ( Russian Марфино ) is a mansion in the village of the same name in Moscow Oblast in the Mytishchi district .

The first written mention of Marfino comes from the year 1585. Since 1698 the house Galitzin was the owner of the place. In the years 1701–1707 a church dedicated to the birth of the Märiä was built here. In 1728 Semyon Andreevich Saltykov bought the town of Marfino. Under the direction of his son Pyotr Semjonowitsch Saltykow , a two-story baroque building was built in the 1760s . Pyotr Saltykov died here on January 6, 1773.

In 1770 a small church for Peter and Paul was built in Marfino. From 1827 to 1829 the architect Michail Bykowsky was commissioned by the new owner of the place, Sofja Vladimirovna Orlova, to rebuild the mansion in the Russian pseudo-Gothic style. After the October Revolution , Marfino was nationalized. Most of the works of art and the library were given to the State Historical Museum . The military sanatorium used by the Ministry of Defense has been located here since 1944. The park has been open to all visitors since 2016.
