Margarete Oehm
Margarete Oehm (born January 9, 1898 in Stuttgart ; † July 6, 1978 there ; also Margrit Baumeister ) was a German painter and graphic artist who gave up her art when she married at the age of 28.
Life
Margarete Oehm began private training as a painter and draftsman in Stuttgart, where she met the painter and graphic artist Willi Baumeister in 1923 . She ended her artistic activity after she and Willi Baumeister married on November 20, 1926.
