Margarita Michailowna Fomina ( Russian Маргари́та Миха́йловна Фомина́ ; born August 19, 1988 in Dmitrov ) is a Russian curler . At the moment she plays in the position of Alternate and is a member of the Moskvitch CC .
Fomina was internationally successful for the first time in 2004 when she won the gold medal in the Curling Europe Junior Women Challenge. As an alternate , she won the gold medal at the 2006 European Championship alongside Skip Lyudmila Priwiwkowa .
In February 2010, Fomina took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the Russian team . The team finished ninth.
