Margit Wild (born November 19, 1957 in Sulzbach-Rosenberg ) is a Bavarian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

Wild attended secondary school until 1974 and trained as a state-recognized educator with a technical college entrance qualification from 1974 to 1978. Two years later, from September 1981 to July 1983, she completed her training as a state-recognized curative pedagogue at the Specialized Academy for Curative Education in Regensburg . After that she worked as a special needs teacher for the government of the Upper Palatinate until her election to the state parliament.

politics

Wild has been a member of the SPD since 1986 and was first elected to the Regensburg City Council for her party in 1990, to which she is still a member. In 2006 she became chairwoman of the Regensburg SPD. In 2008, Wild was deputy chairman of her party's parliamentary group on the city council. In the state elections in Bavaria in 2008 , Wild was elected in the constituency of Upper Palatinate and has been a member of the Bavarian state parliament since October 20 of the same year. At the beginning she was a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport and the Committee on Submissions and Complaints . In 2009 she switched to the Education Committee, which she also belongs to after her re-election to the Bavarian State Parliament in 2013. In 2016 she was elected deputy chairman of the Bavarian SPD parliamentary group. In addition, Margit Wild was a member of the intergroup Inclusion for the implementation of the UN Disability Rights Convention from 2009 until the end of the 17th legislative period of the Bavarian State Parliament in 2018 .

Wild is chairwoman of the Pro familia development association , deputy chairwoman of the Regensburg gymnastics association, as well as a member of Verkehrsclub Deutschland , Kunstverein GRAZ and Altstadtfreunde Regensburg eV
