Margot Bennett (actress)

Margot Bennett (* 19th February 1935 in Woodmere , New York as Muriel Eisenberg ) is an American actress and PR agent.

Life

Muriel Eisenberg was born in Woodmere in 1935. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama . She also completed dance training at the Katherine Dunham School of Dance and Theater in New York City. During her apprenticeship she appeared in her first theater productions.

From the mid-1960s, she made her first appearances in film and television.

From 1960 to 1968 she was married to the actor Keir Dullea . The marriage ended in divorce. From 1969 she was in a relationship with the actor Malcolm McDowell . The couple married in 1975 but divorced in 1980 after McDowell began a relationship with actress Mary Steenburgen .

Bennett stopped acting in the 1970s and has since worked as a PR agent for Paramount Pictures , among others .
