Margot Nienkamper

Margot Nienkämper (born December 16, 1953 in Lahnstein ) is a German CDU politician .

Life and career

After graduating from high school, Nienkämper attended EWH Koblenz and successfully passed the scientific and state examinations for teaching at primary and secondary schools. In 1979 she started working as a teacher at the state school for the blind and visually impaired in Neuwied , which she had to put aside when she moved into the state parliament.

In 2003 she received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .

In 1976 Nienkämper joined the CDU. From 1989 she was chairman of the CDU district association in the Rhein-Lahn district . She belonged to the district council, in which she was temporarily chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. From 1987 to 2001 she was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament , in which she held the office of deputy parliamentary group leader from 1994.
