Margret Heitmann

Margret Heitmann (* 1948 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German teacher and research assistant at the Salomon Ludwig Steinheim Institute for German-Jewish History at the University of Duisburg-Essen .

Scientific career

She studied pedagogy, sociology, psychology and Protestant theology at the University of Duisburg and the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg . In 1997 she received her doctorate.

Margret Heitmann is in charge of the Jonas Cohn archive in the Salomon Ludwig Steinheim Institute for German-Jewish History at the University of Duisburg-Essen, an institute affiliated with the University of Duisburg-Essen, and has published several publications on Jonas Cohn and Neo-Kantianism .

Margret Heitmann teaches in a proseminar at the Salomon Ludwig Steinheim Institute for German-Jewish History at the University of Duisburg-Essen on the subject of German-Jewish history and culture in a European context.
