Bundestag constituency Essen I
The Bundestag constituency of Essen I was a constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1949 to 2002 . It last comprised the Essen districts III Essen-West and IV Borbeck . The constituency was dissolved for the 2002 Bundestag election . Since then, Borbeck District IV belongs to the Mülheim - Essen I constituency and Essen-West III . The last directly elected constituency member was Hans-Günter Bruckmann ( SPD ).
