Coordinates: 49 ° 3 '48 "  N , 25 ° 22' 35"  O The Assumption protection Intercession Church ( Ukrainian Церква Воздвиження Чесного Хреста / Tserkva Wosdwyschennja Tschesnoho Chresta ) is a stone church the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the City of Butschach (23 Halytska Street) in western Ukraine .

The church was dedicated around 1760 and restored in the 1990s. The founder of the church was the magnate , patron and Kaniwer Starost Nikolaus Basilius Potocki . The author of the church project was Johann Schältzer (architect, captain and commander of the fortress in Stanislau ), who oversaw the construction of the church.
