Assumption of Mary is a Roman Catholic parish church in Schweinhausen , a suburb of Hochdorf in the Biberach district in Upper Swabia . The church dates from the end of the 15th century and has a three-sided closed and reticulated choir , which has been rebuilt several times. The roof structure and the baroque nave windows date from the years 1734 and 1735. Another renovation took place in 1922/1923 with the stepped gable of the tower and the western transept with the organ gallery.

A crucifixion painting attributed to Joseph Esperlin dates from 1740 to 1745. There are also several wooden sculptures in the church. Including a late Gothic Mother of God from around 1480, which may come from the Multscher succession or from the circle of Michel Erhart . An Anna selbdritt is likely from around 1515 and could have been created by Michael Zeynsler .
