Mari white

Mari Weiß (born February 29, 1984 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer and politician . From 2007 to 2011 she was a non-party member of the Berlin House of Representatives , where she was a member of the Die Linke parliamentary group . She has been a judge in the state of Brandenburg since 2016.

Life and politics

Mari Weiß was born in 1984 in Berlin-Lichtenberg . In 2003 she passed her Abitur at the Johann-Gottfried-Herder-Gymnasium there and studied law at the HU Berlin . From September 2005 to June 2006 she studied études de droit at the University of Paris II with a focus on European law.

On April 16, 2007, she replaced Harald Wolf in the Berlin House of Representatives. There she was a member of the main committee and the committee for education, youth and family. In 2011 she left parliament.

White was appointed probationary judge in 2016. She initially worked at the Potsdam Administrative Court and, after having worked as a judge at the Königs Wusterhausen district court, is now seconded to the Joint Judicial Examination Office Berlin-Brandenburg.
