Maria-Claudia Tomany
Maria-Claudia Tomany (* 1967 ) is a German Scandinavian artist and translator .
Life
Maria-Claudia Tomany completed a degree in Scandinavian and English studies , which she completed in 2004 with a doctorate at the University of Munich . She then taught at the universities in Frankfurt am Main and Munich and in the United States at Arizona State University and Minnesota State University ; she currently works at Western State Colorado University . In addition to working in her academic field, the medieval and early modern culture of Northern Europe, she translates fiction from Icelandic into German .
