Maria Kren (born March 25, 1892 in Groß-Siegharts ; † November 20, 1966 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and industrial worker. Kren was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1945 to 1949 and a member of the National Council from 1949 to 1959 .

After primary school in Vienna, Kren attended the local community school and then worked professionally as a textile worker. Kren was initially primarily involved in local politics and was a member of the Groß-Siegharts municipal council from 1929 until the Social Democratic Party was banned in 1934. In 1945 she was again a councilor in Groß-Siegharts, and she was mayor of the municipality between 1952 and 1964. She also held the function of chairwoman of the district women's committee of the SPÖ Waidhofen an der Thaya and was second chairman of the women's committee of the SPÖ Lower Austria. Kren represented the SPÖ from December 12, 1945 to November 5, 1949 in the Lower Austrian state parliament and was a member of the National Council from November 8, 1949 to June 9, 1959.
