Maria Lundqvist
Annika Maria Lundqvist (born October 14, 1963 in Västra Frölunda , Gothenburg , Sweden ) is a Swedish actress .
Life
Maria Lundqvist already played theater during her school days, so that she studied drama at Teaterhögskolan i Göteborg from 1983 . After graduating in 1986, she appeared on the stages of Göteborgs Stadsteater , Folkteatern i Göteborg , Backa Teater , Stockholm's Stadsteater and the Royal Dramatic Theater .
She started her film career in 1991 with the television film Knäckebröd och hovmästarsås . As librarian Sally Santesson in the eponymous television series Sally , she had her first major national success in 1999. This was followed in 2001 by the two films Deadline - Terror in Stockholm and Familjemligheter , with each of which she received a nomination for the Swedish Guldbagge film award for both best supporting actress and best leading actress . She won the Best Actress Award in 2006 for her role as self-sacrificing mother Signe Jönsson in the film drama The Best Mother , and she received the Best Supporting Actress award in 2009 for her role as Ann in the film drama Himlens hjärta .
