Mord am See is a Swedish crime film from 1999. The script was written by Hans Iveberg, who also directed production.

action

The real estate agent Lisa Berg travels to her Swedish home village to settle the estate of her missing father. At the same time, she is investigating the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. She should let the matter rest, one advises her from different sides. Her father Ernst was unpopular in the village. There have been several charges against him. In a persistent questioning, she can elicit the story of his disappearance from Ernst's brother Sven. A dispute broke out in good company in the log cabin by the lake. In the course of the fight that followed, one of the men (Lasse) chopped off Ernst's foot. The three of them set out to sink the now unconscious, hated victim in the lake. A long stake rammed into the chest was supposed to prevent emergence.

The thriller was shot in the southern Swedish municipality of Uddevalla and in the north of it in the Bohuslän province.

Award

Regina Lund was awarded a Guldbagge for Best Actress in 2000 for her role .
