Maria Rybakova

Maria Rybakova (actually Russian Мария Александровна Рыбакова / Marija Alexandrowna Rybakova ; * 1973 in Moscow ) is a Russian author .

Maria Rybakova is the granddaughter of the writer Anatoly Rybakov . At the age of 17, she began to study classical philology at the Moscow State University . At the age of 20 she went to Germany to continue her studies and lived in Berlin for a few years . She is currently doing her PhD in the United States at Yale University. Anna Grom's Journey is her first novel.
