Maria Theiner
Maria Theiner (* 1980 in Steyr ; married name Maria Theiner-Haimel ) is an Austrian journalist , radio and television presenter .
Career
In 1999 Theiner passed her Matura . Since 2000 she has been working for various radio stations and since 2004 she has been a presenter at Radio Oberösterreich . Alternating with Günther Madlberger , she tours through Upper Austria in the summer months , occasionally also through the border communities that are already in the neighboring federal states of Lower Austria , Styria and Salzburg and rarely across the border to Bavaria and the Czech Republic and provides the story in the program Mein Sommerradio Ausflugstipps of the tour stop and extraordinary people from the respective region. Since there will be no outdoor broadcasts in the summer of 2020 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic , Theiner works as a reporter in the places that are presented and as a moderator in the studio. Theiner has been presenting the daily regional television program Oberösterreich heute on television since 2013 . In 2017 and 2018 she moderated the Linz Ice Magic . Since February 2018 she has also been co-moderator in the Upper Austria weeks of Guten Morgen Österreich .
