Mariam Gitti Ruhin (born October 24, 1993 in Hamburg , Germany ) is a German-Afghan soccer player who plays for the Afghan national team internationally.

Career

Club career

Ruhin started her career in April 2007 in the youth team of Einigkeit Wilhelmsburg , where she was the North German vice-cup winner of the B-youth in 2009 . In 2011, the defensive midfielder moved up to the senior team of Wilhelmsburg and became champion of the Hamburg district league in 2012 and the regional league in 2013 with ESV unity. In Wilhelmsburg she plays with the Afghan national players Manija Mir and her sister Shebnam Ruhin .

National team

Ruhin has been a member of the Afghan national team since 2011 and took part for the team in Sri Lanka in September 2012 and in the South Asian women's football championship in India in December 2016 .

Mariam's sister, Shebnam , also plays for the women's Afghan national soccer team , who plays with her at ESV Einigkeit Wilhelmsburg .
