Marianela Szymanowski Alonso (born July 31, 1990 in Buenos Aires ) is a Polish - Argentine soccer player .

Career

Szymanowski's father was born in Poland and immigrated to Argentina in the 1970s , where she was born in 1990. In 2000 the family returned to Europe and moved to Spain near Madrid .

In the club

At the age of eleven, she began her career with the small Madrid suburban club Rayo Ciudad Alcobendas Club de Futbol. There she played until she was 18 and then moved to the women's football department of Atlético Madrid . After two years she left Atlético and went to the Madrid suburban club Rayo Vallecano .

National team

She is in the extended squad for the Argentine national football team .

Private

Her brother Alexander is also active as a football player in Denmark and plays for Brøndby IF . In addition to her active career, Szymanowski has been studying sports management at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid since 2009 .
