Marianne Paus
Marianne Paus (born August 17, 1935 in Essen ; † May 29, 2015 in Bielefeld) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending elementary school and high school with the completion of secondary school, Paus attended the technical college for kindergarten teachers and after- school care workers. She passed the state examination and worked as a kindergarten teacher from 1955 to 1960 .
She has been a member of the CDU since 1973 and was represented in numerous committees, including as chairwoman of the CDU women's association of the Bielefeld district association and as a member of the state board of the CDU NRW from 1989 to 1991.
MPs
From May 31, 1990 to May 31, 1995 Paus was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . She was elected from her party's national list.
She was a member of the city council of Bielefeld from 1984 to 1990. Paus was a member of the 10th Federal Assembly on May 23, 1994.
Award
Paus was the recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
