Marianne Schläger

Marianne Schläger (born November 22, 1920 ) is a former Austrian shot putter , discus thrower , pentathlete and sprinter .

Athletic career

At the 1948 Olympic Games in London, she came twelfth in the shot put and 15th in the discus throw .

She was Austrian champion in the shot put three times (1938, 1942, 1949), twice in discus throw (1947, 1948) as well as in pentathlon (1946, 1949) and once over 100 m (1941).
