Marianne Wonnay

Marianne Wonnay (born September 26, 1952 in Nordheim ) is a Baden-Württemberg politician of the SPD .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Vaihingen an der Enz , Marianne Wonnay trained as a business correspondent . From 1973 to 1984 she worked as a secretary in Schwieberdingen and Freiburg im Breisgau . Since 1994 she has been chairwoman of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Baden-Württemberg. Wonnay is married and has one child.

politics

In 1988 Wonnay joined the SPD. From 1992 to 2011 she was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , in which she represented the constituency 49 of Emmendingen . Until 1996 she was the spokeswoman for women's policy in the SPD parliamentary group. From 1996 to 2006 she was family policy spokeswoman and deputy parliamentary group leader as well as a member of the state parliament presidium. From 2006 to 2011 she was spokeswoman for women's and family policy. In addition, Wonnay has been a member of the district council of the Emmendingen district since 2004 .
