Mariano Lamberti

Mariano Lamberti (* 1967 in Pompei ) is an Italian short film and feature film director .

Life

After graduating in philosophy from the University of Naples L'Orientale , Lamberti attended directing courses at the CSC and graduated in 1992 with his short film Western di cose nostre . Another graduation took place in 1996 at the New York Film Academy (with solo quando non recitano ). Together with two colleagues, he produced the La ragazza di Parigi format for television the following year, which was presented by Claudia Cardinale . In addition to documentary works, Lamberti presented his first full-length feature film, Non con un bang , at the 56th Venice Film Festival in 1998 , which was only shown briefly in the cinema. After a long break he shot the television series Colpi di sole in 2008 and a second feature film, Good as You, in 2011 .
