Marie-France Boyer

Marie-France Boyer (born April 22, 1938 in Marseille ) is a French actress, singer and author of several internationally published non-fiction books on various topics. From 1959 to 1976 she appeared in more than a dozen feature films and a few television series.

Career

The directors and filmmakers they hired included a. François Villiers , Henri Verneuil , Agnès Varda , Riccardo Freda and Gilles Grangier .

She got to know German viewers in particular through the female lead in the television series Quentin Durward . There she was in the role of Isabelle de Croye a subject of dispute between the Duke of Burgundy and the King of France. Isabelle's beauty and personality motivate the protagonist to surpass himself. If he is offered high positions at both courts in the last episode, he rejects both offers, because he prefers to live at the court and by the side of Isabelle de Croye, played by her.

In 1967 she took part in screen tests, in which the new lead actor for the character of James Bond in the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service was wanted.
